โปรแกรมที่จะเข้ามาจัดการกับงานที่ไร้สาระ ซึ่งเข้ามากวนการทำงานซีพียูคอมพิวเตอร์ หรือ จัดการกับงานที่ยังไม่สำคัญให้ มันหยุดทำงานไปก่อนจากนั้นให้ซีพียูของท่านหันมาทำงานที่เร่งด่วนซะก่อน เช่น ขณะตัดต่อหนังเราอยากให้ซีพียูทำงานนี้เพียวๆ เพื่อจะได้ทำงานเร็วขึ้น…เราก็เปิดโปรแกรมนี้ขึ้นมาแล้วเลื่อนแถบงานในตัว โปรแกรมไปทางซ้ายมือจากนั้นตัวโปรแกรมก็จะไปปิดโปรแกรมต่างๆ ที่วิ่งอยู่ (ในแบบที่เรามองไม่เห็น) ให้หยุดทำงานซะก่อนแล้วหันมาทำงานหลักดังกล่าวแทนนั่นเอง.
